Collaboration Agreement |
If you are a representative of a nonprofit organization (e.g.,
university department, government laboratory, etc.) you may acquire a copy
of VCS source code. (VCS executable code is freely
available to all users.)
Release of VCS source code is contingent on your willingness to enter
into a formal collaboration agreement with PCMDI/LLNL.
- Read carefully the terms of the collaboration
agreement. Note especially the obligation to share with PCMDI/LLNL
enhancements of VCS that your organization may develop (section
5), and the prohibition against release of VCS software to a third
party (sections 9 and 10).
- If you wish to proceed, download and print a collaboration
agreement form (12.7 kb in PostScript), or contact Anna McCravy (mccravy@pcmdi.llnl.gov)
for a copy.
- Complete the collaboration agreement form. That is,
- In Section 8, supply the name of your organization
as COLLABORATOR and the name, address, and phone number of your designated
representative.
- In Section 12, again supply the name of
your organization as COLLABORATOR.
- Finally, have your representative sign
and date the agreement.
- Send your completed collaboration agreement to Anna
McCravy, PCMDI. (If you fax it, be sure to also mail the original.)
- After receipt of your signed collaboration agreement, you will be informed
of further technical details for acquiring a copy of the VCS source code.
You may make duplicate copies for the nonprofit use of other members
of your organization only.
