makenewsum

This program creates a text summary of a set of scanning 3-GHz radar NetCDF files given on the command line. This should enable the user to determine which files might be interesting to look at without having to load them all.

Usage

makenewsum: Without any arguments, makenewsum displays some basic usage information.
makenewsum file1.nc [file2.nc ...] [ > scan_summary.txt]: Information on the files is written to scan_summary.txt, one line per file.
