Data Assimilation Training

The Data Assimilation Research Centre at the University of Reading are running a 4-day training course on data assimilation, Tues 14 - Fri 17 February 2017. The course will cover basic data assimilation theory, variational methods, ensemble Kalman filters and the particle filter and is aimed at PhD students and early career researchers. It will be taught through a mixture of lectures and computer practicals.
