Mesoscale Group

About us

The Mesoscale Group is comprised of academic staff, postdocs and postgrads who share a common interest in mesoscale meteorology. We have diverse research interests ranging from theoretical aspects of convection to the transport of pollutants within midlatitude cyclones. The Mesoscale Group interacts closely with Met Office staff via the Joint Centre for Mesoscale Meteorology (JCMM). Several members of the group are also affiliated with NCAS-Weather.
