I am a postdoctoral research scientist working at the University of Reading working on UMBRELLA project with Helen Dacre.

Until August 2023 I worked on the R4Ash project with Helen Dacre and Helen Webster (Met Office). Before this I worked on the IMPALA project with Steve Woolnough and Alison Stirling (Met Office). Following my PhD I worked on the volcanic ash strand of the Robust Assessment and Communication of Environmental Risk (RACER) project with Helen Dacre. The aims of this project were to build a framework to assess uncertainty in the prediction of natural hazards. This includes flooding, tsnuamis, earthquakes, extreme weather forecasts and the long range dispersion of volcanic ash.

I took my PhD titled "Boundary-layer type classification and pollutant mixing" at the University of Reading. I was supervised by Robin Hogan and Helen Dacre. More information about my PhD can be found here. The boundary layer typing algorithm I developed as part of my PhD can be downloaded here.
