New! "A Proposed Modification to the Robert-Asselin Time Filter" has been published in Monthly Weather Review.

Paul Williams

I am a Royal Society Research Fellow at the University of Reading, in the Department of Meteorology and the National Centre for Atmospheric Science. Before that, I held a NERC Fellowship here. My doctoral degree was taken in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics at the University of Oxford.

I study fundamental processes in the atmosphere and ocean, and their impacts on weather and climate, using mathematical theory, numerical models and laboratory experiments.
