A selection of slices are available. The obvious slices to take are: the slice that cuts the composite storms in the direction of travel, back-front; and the slice that cut the storms at 90 degrees to this, left-right.
The other slices have been chosen to pick out physical features of the storm; the warm conveyor belt is cut by the warm conveyor belt slice; the cold conveyor belt is cut by the cold conveyor belt slice; the cold and warm fronts are cut by the fronts slice; and tropopause fold as it descends into the tropopause behind the cold front is cut by the dry slot slice.
