INCOMPASS is one of three collaborative India-UK projects funded under the joint NERC/MoES Drivers of Variability in the South Asian Monsoon programme.

The Monsoons Programme features a NERC budget of £3million and equivalent spend in India, over 2013-2017, won in open competition. More details can be found on the programme website listed above.

The Monsoons Programme has funded three projects:

• INCOMPASS (PIs: Dr Andy Turner and Prof. GS Bhat)
• SWAAMI (PIs: Prof. Hugh Coe and Prof. SK Satheesh)
• BoBBLE (PIs: Prof. Adrian Matthews and Prof. PN Vinayachandran)
