Past Research

In the past I have worked on turbulence theory, using Rapid Distortion Theory, addressing the generation of waves by turbulence, and the effect of solid walls and free surfaces on the dissipation rate of turbulent kinetic energy.

Before that, I introduced and tested a warm-rain microphysics parametrization scheme in a mesoscale model.

Earlier still, I used integral models of buoyant plumes to invetigate pollutant dispersion.
